You heard me right! Soon you will be able to reserve a cabin on the Oasis of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's newest and largest cruise ship. This is the first cruise ship to offer a view of their very own Central Park, which consists of a landscaped area the size of a football field. The park is surrounded by six decks of balcony staterooms with a view of the park below and the star-filled sky above. In this new neighborhood setting, you will find upscale boutiques for shopping, and elegant restaurants for dining. You might like to just sit and people-watch from the Central Park Cafe or possibly enjoy a picnic in the park. Either way, there will be something for everyone when the Park meets the Seas.
The Oasis of the Seas is scheduled to launch in late 2009, followed by it's sister ship, Allure of the Seas in 2010.

That is most interesting to have a park on a cruise ship. Most hotels would already have something like this and it sure doesn't come as a surprise. However, to have this on a ship, the whole feeling would be different I guess; feels kinda of romantic :)

I've never been on a cruise ship but I certainly am dreaming of being in one. The promise of a park inside is awesome.

My father works in Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas as a chief chef. ^^; This newest ship looks fantastic. But I find the name "Oasis" unfit for a ship's name; a ship is already in the midst of a humongous body of water!
I hope we could be ECbuddies. ^^;
You also might be interested in joining my contests. You'll receive a photo taken from the Diamond Mountain in N.Korea. It was taken by me in Summer of 2007. ^^;
Have a great week ahead! Cheers!
