Part One of what might be an endless series......
As promised, here begins my Disoriented Down Under series on Sydney, Australia. I was hoping for a little assistance from my readers (especially the ones from Oz), but no one responded to my request, so I will just wing this and we will see how you like it. Once I actually get started, you may feel the need to participate after all.
Along the coastal walk between Bondi and Tamarama, there is a one-of-a-kind outdoor art show called Sculpture by the Sea. This is Australia's largest annual free to the public exhibition of sculpture. 2007 was the 11th annual showing featuring over 100 sculptures from 18 different countries. Today I will share with you some of the extraordinary pieces of art that were selected to show in November of last year.
"G'day Mate"
These little tin men look like they are working hard.

The artist calls them "Making our own way"
This is probably the best thing you can do to a Plymouth, if that is what it is.
The artist refers to it as "Mobile Home".
This is called "Tetrapus". Can anyone tell me what a Tetrapus is,
maybe it is a sea creature from Bondi Beach?
This is my all time favorite. It reminds me of the old sci-fi flicks of the 50's.
Two of the most colorful and appealing sculptures in this show are a "Ribbon" of flowers
that reminds me of the Wizard of Oz (no pun intended)
and finally "Where they fell" which looks like the coolest game of pick up stix ever!
